OUR VISION:

The Five-fold Effect can help you and your organization go to the next level and far
beyond. We want to see this paradigm practiced in the marketplace by everyone
responsible for leadership in any organization in the Seven Mountains of Influence.*

That includes everybody visiting this website!

OUR WIDER VISION is to see this foundational leadership plan taught in
businesses and government and at business schools, seminaries and schools of
ministry—anywhere leadership principles are taught—so all can learn to recognize,
understand, identify and engage in the cooperative employment of the five-fold gifts
of Ephesians 4:11. To help make that happen, we’re developing a basic course for
learning and teaching the concepts and principles of five -fold leadership.

It’s a three-session live or video seminar with a 53-page study guide, “Experiencing
the Five-fold Effect, Volume 1: Getting Started.” Each session is about one hour. The
book, study guide, teaching script and associated PowerPoint slides can also be used
by groups with a facilitator, letting the videos be the teacher, with discussion and
practical activation exercises following each session. It is already available as an
online course (see below)

 Session 1, "Changing the Atmosphere" 

God is at the center of the marketplace, including all of the Seven Mountains of
Influence, and when we use our God-given gifts as He intended, we change the
atmosphere there.

Session 2, "Applying Five-fold Leadership"

This session delves into the model of Ephesians 4:11-16, provides a primer
on its practical application in your organization and your life and lays
a foundation for discovering what your own gifts are. By the end, you should be
thinking of yourself as an effective leader—right now, not just someday.

Session 3, "Discovering Your Five-fold Gifts"

Session 3 examines each of the five-fold  gifts of apostolic, prophetic, pastoral,
teaching and evangelistic—their characteristics, roles and "job descriptions"
—and shows you how to identify which gifts are yours.

*The Seven Mountains of Influence: In 1975 Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With A Mission, discovered that God had simultaneously given each of them a message for the other: “The culture is shaped by seven mind-molders or mountains in society.” These have come to be known as “The Seven Mountains of Influence” (business, government, arts and entertainment, media, family, education, and religion) and have been written about and preached extensively by such proponents as Dr. Lance Wallnau, Dr. C. Peter Wagner, and Os Hillman. The graduate school curriculum of Regent University is centered on these culture changing areas.
