What is “the five-fold effect”?
When people use their God-given apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic,
teaching, and pastoral gifts while working together under Holy Spirit
guidance, any organization they are involved in—whether a business, a
church, or even a small committee—can tap into supernatural
resources more powerful than they can imagine, leading to success that
is potentially unlimited.
The result is what we call “the five-fold effect.”
How does it work?
This diagram is an aid to thinking about five-fold leadership. The
gifts are arrayed in a circle representing completeness as well as mutual
love, much like the symbolism of a wedding band. They form a protective
circle around the business they lead. Notice the “access lines” indicating the
five gifts working together interdependently, supporting each other and
investing into the lives of the people. People can exercise their gifts and can
move freely from current roles to others as they grow and move toward their
destiny and calling and as seasons change in the vision, growth, and
development of the organization.
This does not replace a traditional organization chart but only serves
as a reminder that ideally all five gifts should be represented in the
leadership team.
